M.O.M., Inc. Tours The Kimberly Home Pregnancy Resource Center
As part of #GivingTuesday, Mothers of Minors, Inc. toured The Kimberly Home and donated formula
M.O.M. Inc. is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization that strives to provide various services to the elderly, disabled, and low income individuals with an emphasis on single parent homes. In their commitment to meet a broad range of needs that cover far more than just shelter & charity, they work to form collaborations with worthy local charities that share their mission to be a blessing to their neighbors in need.
Mothers of Minors, Inc. (M.O.M.) chose to tour The Kimberly Home Pregnancy Resource Center in Clearwater as part of their encouragement of their supporters to participate in the #GivingTuesday campaign. They were inspired to learn more about the dedication of the staff and volunteers who work towards bringing hope to young mothers in the community. M.O.M., Inc. donated nine cases of formula to The Kimberly Home during their visit.
“The tour of the facilities was very informative,” stated Andrea Clark, Founder and President of M.O.M., Inc., “I am looking forward to collaborating with The Kimberly Home in future endeavors to bring educational and job training opportunities to single parents in our community.”

Kimberly Home is a non-profit, non-denominational pregnancy resource center that offers assistance to women in unplanned or troubling pregnancies. Opened in 1983, they provide a host of services including counseling, material assistance, infant and toddler daycare, transitional housing, as well as referrals to resources throughout the community. All of their services are provided on a confidential basis.
M.O.M., Inc. is seeking community partners to assist with their “Christmas for the Kids” campaign. They have received “Christmas Wishes” from over 40 families with over 100 children so far and will be accepting requests from families in need until December 10th. The wish lists of the children is available on the website and is being updated as requests are being received.

In order to help raise funding towards fulfilling the wishes, M.O.M., Inc. is holding a Holiday Festival Fundraiser at the VFW Post 2550 in Dunedin on December 5th from Noon until 4:00 pm. The public is encouraged to come out for food, raffles and great shopping with local vendors who will be donating a percentage of their sales towards the effort to assist families during the holidays.
Florida Citrus Country, 301 S. Belcher Road in Clearwater has generously offered to set up a Giving Tree that will have “wish list” ornaments for those who would like to sponsor a child for Christmas.
