Rocks Thrown or BB Gun Fired at Motorists on I-75
While no one was hurt, three vehicles were hit, including Clearwater man's pickup, and troopers are looking for leads. [BREAKING]

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A truck, a pickup and an SUV were damaged this morning around midnight as either rocks were thrown or a pellet gun was fired from an Interstate-75 overpass in Manatee County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers responded to I-75 and the Mendoza Road area to a report three vehicles were struck by individuals possibly throwing rocks or shooting a BB/pellet gun from the bridge overpass at northbound traffic.
A Clearwater man's Ford F-350 pickup was struck in the front right quarter-panel. A Bradenton man's KW truck had windshield damage, troopers said. And a Spring Hill man's Ford Excursion had its front and right rear windows shattered by a projectile consistent with a BB or pellet.

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office also responded to the scene to assist with an area search for suspects, however, no success was met in locating the culprits or obtaining information regarding the incident.
No injuries were sustained by any motorists, troopers said.
