A woman is thankful to be alive after a Mercedes reportedly crashed into her home in Clearwater over the weekend.

CLEARWATER, FL — Authorities are investigating after a stolen Mercedes-Benz reportedly ran into a Clearwater woman's home over the weekend.

Marla Lenain told Bay News 9 the car crashed into her sliding-glass door Sunday morning and pushed her car in the driveway. While she said she is grateful to be alive, Lenain told the news station she has been out of work due to the coronavirus pandemic, so repairs are an added stress.

Meanwhile, Bay News 9 reports the police are looking for the person responsible, since the driver left the scene and the car was stolen.
