Update: Child Found Wandering Clearwater Beach Reunited With Parents
A four-year old boy found wandering Clearwater Beach near the Mandalay Beach Club early this morning was reunited with his parents.
A rain-soaked, four-year old boy found wandering Clearwater Beach wearing only a T-shirt and underwear early this morning was reunited with his parents a few hours later, according to Clearwater Police.
A newspaper delivery woman saw Elias Kapadoukakis pulling on the double glass front doors at the Mandalay Beach Club, 10 Papaya Street, at about 4:30 a.m. She told the hotel security who then called Clearwater Police.
"It's obvious he just wandered off," said Chuck Davis who has worked security at Mandalay Beach Club for the last year and half.

The boy's uncle in Tampa saw the news and called police. The boy and his parents Dimitrios and Valery Kapadoukakis are staying at the nearby Hilton. The family is here on vacation from Chicago, according to police.
Elias was able to leave the secure room while his parents slept, police said.

He was found soaking wet wearing only a black T-shirt and underwear Davis said. He said the boy seemed calm and fairly active.
"He was kind of enjoying the attention," Davis said.
No charges will be filed against the parents, according to Clearwater Police.
"He was so adorable we didn't mind his visit," Davis said.
