USF Graduate Debuts Job Matchmaking Platform Throughout Tampa Bay Area

Zachary Senz-Kamler Launches MONIKL aimed at solving universal hiring issues

MONIKL, a web-based job platform designed to reinvent the way people hire and get hired, announced that its career matchmaking platform is open for enrollment throughout the Tampa Bay area. Tampa, the economic hub of west central Florida, has a diverse economy with thousands of jobs available in the area. MONIKL features jobs in all categories, as well as two of the fastest-growing sectors: healthcare and technology.

“Right now, finding a job can be a difficult process. At MONIKL, we have made this path clear by identifying positions for the candidates and employers enrolled in our platform, and then utilizing over 60 variables to successfully match candidates to open positions,” says Zachary Senz-Kamler, founder and chief executive officer at MONIKL. “Our goal is to enroll 10,000 candidates on MONIKL by the end of the year, providing new opportunities for recent graduates and people throughout the Tampa Bay area looking to advance in their careers.”

Launched in the beginning of this year, MONIKL is the brainchild of Zachary Senz-Kamler, a recent graduate of the University of South Florida, who received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Entrepreneurship. Aimed at solving the universal struggle of finding a job, MONIKL examines over 60 different factors including skill sets, workplace preferences, temperament and cultural fit. The site also offers temp payrolling, virtual time cards and worker’s compensation insurance to enable companies to also hire temporary and contract workers. Companies only pay a success fee once they hire a qualified match found through MONIKL.

Senz-Kamler experienced his first taste of the staffing industry at a young age as he observed and worked at his parent’s staffing and recruitment advertising agencies. He grew up hearing about the issues both industries encountered and even attended staffing conferences. When he turned 21, Senz-Kamler decided to develop MONIKL to solve the problems staffing faced as well as simplify and improve this process.

Since its inception, MONIKL has received a grant from Microsoft BizSpark and was one of 10 companies selected out of 80 applicants this year accepted into the Tampa Bay WaVE, a nonprofit organization designed to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into growing tech businesses. The brand is also a featured company in the University category start-up competition at eMerge Americas, a two-day tech conference this June in Miami for startups and investors featuring keynote speaker Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple.
