Vantage Rooftop Bar At Karol Hotel To Open March 6

CLEARWATER, FL — Tampa Bay's newest rooftop bar is scheduled to open Friday, March 6.

The Karol Hotel will open the Vantage Rooftop Bar, a stylish new rooftop bar that crowns the newly opened Tribute Portfolio property, Pinellas County’s first. Perched atop the 12-story hotel, Vantage will be the first of its kind in the area, with a climate-controlled setting that will make the rooftop retreat accessible year-round.

Vantage Rooftop Bar will be open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served.

“We fully expect Vantage to become the next big hotspot in the St. Pete/Clearwater area,” said Adam Duffey, general manager at The Karol Hotel. “It will fit perfectly within this community, and we can’t wait to show it off to locals and visitors alike.”

While enjoying views of the downtown Tampa skyline, guests at Vantage can sip artisan cocktails, cool off with local craft beers and share tapas. Featured menu items include warm pretzel bites, smoked chicken wings and Asian-style barbecue short ribs.

Taking center stage is the fire onyx bar, lit from beneath, giving it a warm orange-red glow.

Available for private social or corporate gatherings, the unique 2,027-square-foot space can accommodate up to 122 guests, with seating for 72.

The Karol Hotel is named for and inspired by Karol Kelly Bullard, “Miss Karol K,” wife of Fred Bullard, CEO of The Bullard Group, developer and owner of the property. Celebrating the serendipity that first brought Karol and Fred Bullard together, The Karol embodies the couples’ timeless personality and style, Florida roots and unique story.

No visit to Vantage Rooftop Bar will be complete without a photo under the custom neon lights that read, “Don’t I know you from somewhere?” – the famous pickup line Fred used to grab Karol’s attention.

Located off Feather Sound at 2675 Ulmerton Road, between Clearwater, St. Pete and Tampa, The Karol features 123 guest rooms and suites; the signature K Club Bar & Bistro; Vantage Rooftop Bar overlooking Tampa Bay; a combined 7,340 square feet of event space, including a ballroom and executive conference rooms; and an outside pool and fitness center.
