Waitress Plans to Keep Working After Winning Lottery
A Clearwater woman who works as a waitress in Dunedin took a lump sum payment of $700,000 for winning a scratch off lottery game.
A Clearwater woman who works as a waitress in Dunedin took a lump sum payment of $700,000 for winning a scratch off lottery game and doesn't plan on quitting her job.
Alexandra Chaar, 21, of Clearwater, claimed a $1 million top prize in a Monopoly Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee but went for the lump-sum payout of $700,000.
Chaar is a student at St. Petersburg College and waitress at Casa Tina's Restaurant in Dunedin, according to tampabay.com. She is not planning on quitting her day job though.Â

"I love where I work," she said in a release.
Chaar purchased her winning Scratch-Off ticket at , 601 Mandalay Ave. She said she had a lucky feeling.

"I kept going back to the same store to buy them, the people who work there got to know me," Chaar said.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, $1,000,000 MONOPOLY, launched July 5, 2011.
