• Prestige Companies Back Dania Beach, Fla., Residential Complex at a Discount (commercialobserver.com) — A major Dania Beach condo community, Atlantica at Dania Beach, has changed hands in a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure sale for $27.3 million, nearly $10 million below its last price. Prestige Companies, the original developer, has bought back most of the units, a move that could influence local rents, condo pricing, and future investment in the neighborhood.
   

• IGFA announces the E.K. Harry Digital Archive, a landmark effort to preserve the world's sportfishing memory (envnewsbits.info) — A major Dania Beach institution, the International Game Fish Association, is digitizing its renowned E.K. Harry Library of Fishes so anglers, researchers, and residents can eventually search millions of historic sportfishing records online. The multi-year project will preserve rare photos, films, and documents, and IGFA is inviting clubs and organizations to contribute their own archives to expand this global recreational fishing resource.
