This storyteller, filmmaker, artist and digital-media producer won the 2011 Coretta Scott King Author Award. He has four edgy, provocative books for teens to his credit: "Chess Rumble," "Yummy: The Last Days of a Southside Shorty," "Surf Mules," and his latest, "Ghetto Cowboy."
