Workshop: Managing Pests in Your Vegetable Garden

The Dunedin Community Garden wants you to head into the next growing season by creating a plan of attack for the main pests problems encountered in a Pinellas veggie garden: insects, diseases, and weeds.

Speaker Pam Brown has served as the University of Florida/IFAS Horticulture Extension Agent for Pinellas County from 2000 – 2009. Upon retiring in 2009, she was granted Emeritus Extension Agent status. In addition, she started Pampered Gardeners, LLC where she serves as a gardening coach or mentor, working hand in hand with clients who want to do their own landscaping or gardening. She is passionate about gardening and Florida’s fragile natural environment, and enjoys working with people.
