Here are the top 3 stories today in Dunedin:
- Pinellas County commissioners approved changes and updates for single-member and at-large district maps during a Dec. 7 regular meeting. The changes had to be approved by the end of the year as the county charter calls for any changes to be made in odd-numbered years. Redistricting was triggered by the population changes found in the 2020 census. (Tampa Bay Newspapers)
- Are you a local entrepreneur, freelancer, consultant, or hybrid employee looking for a great place to work? Discover The Hub Dunedin, a place to connect, create and collaborate. Powered by the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, The Hub is coming to downtown Dunedin next month. (Facebook)
- A woman who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 275 in Pinellas County early Sunday morning was critically injured when her vehicle hit a van nearly head-on. A 33-year-old St. Petersburg woman was driving a sport utility vehicle north in the southbound lanes when she hit the van, which was driven by a 62-year-old woman from Bradenton. The crash caused the SUV to catch fire; the SUV driver suffered critical injuries, while the woman driving the van was taken to a hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
