• East Lake Community Library plans renovation and expansion (baynews9.com) — East Lake residents will see a major renovation and expansion of their community library, the only government building in town, to better handle growing demand and fix safety and accessibility issues. Backed by Penny for Pinellas funds and local donations, the project is in design now, with construction planned for October 2027 and a public input session on November 12.
