• Woman, child hurt in hit-and-run in marked crosswalk; Driver turns himself in, police say (fox35orlando.com) — A 36-year-old man from Edgewater is accused of hitting a woman and an 8-year-old boy in a New Smyrna Beach crosswalk, then driving off before later turning himself in to police. Both victims are in stable condition, and the Edgewater suspect now faces multiple felony charges with a first court appearance scheduled this afternoon.
