The team, which recently played in Naples, shows how athletes with limb loss can rebuild confidence, friendships, and purpose well beyond traditional careers.

• Avelo Airlines Adds New Nonstop Service Between Fort Myers and the Charlotte Area (suncoastpost.com) — Estero residents will gain a new travel option this November as Avelo Airlines launches twice-weekly nonstop flights between Southwest Florida International Airport and Concord-Padgett Regional Airport near Charlotte. The added low-cost route expands RSW’s more than 70-destination network, potentially lowering fares and making trips to North Carolina—and visits from Charlotte-area friends and family—more convenient for Southwest Florida communities including Estero.
