• Seasonal adjustment set for collection schedule (captivasanibel.com) — Starting May 1, Estero residents must place trash, recycling, and yard waste at the curb by 5 a.m., 90 minutes earlier than usual, to help crews beat the summer heat. The change doesn’t affect your collection day, but the county is stressing proper recycling, battery disposal, and use of its website and Recycle Coach app for schedules and guidance.
