Construction begins on Royal Caribbean's next massive Icon-class ship (sun-sentinel.com) — Royal Caribbean has begun construction in Finland on its fifth massive Icon-class cruise ship, slated to debut in 2028 alongside several sister vessels already sailing or on order. For Fort Lauderdale travelers, the key news is that Legend of the Seas, the third Icon-class ship, will begin winter sailings from the city starting this November after a Mediterranean season.
