New York, NY; A New York City nightclub is permanently closed and twelve people are on Rikers Island after the FBI uncovered illegal lewd conduct in the form of dance floor grinding.
Two undercover FBI officers were at the club, located in Midtown Manhattan, when the DJ stopped counting at the beginning of a number of songs, the line dancing became unorganized, and eight patrons began grinding and "juking" to the music that was playing instead of line dancing. Backup was immediately called, and all eight patrons, the DJ, and the three club owners were arrested and booked into Rikers Island. The club was immediately shut down by the FBI.
