The 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing as we remember it 28 years later.

Wednesday April 19th, 1995 began as another typical day in Oklahoma City. And then at 9:02 in the morning, a truck bomb, parked by Timothy McVeigh, detonated next to the north facade of the 9-story Alfred P. Murrah Federal building in Downtown Oklahoma City. The blast shattered the entire northern half of the building, causing it to collapse in a monstrous avalanche of glass, concrete, and steel rebar.

The blast of the bomb and the collapse of the building crushed 168 people to death. Over 300 other buildings were also damaged by McVeigh's bomb, some of them beyond repair. A few were shifted from their foundations by the concussion of the blast.

A daycare center, located on the second floor of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal building, was also destroyed, killing 19 children, some of them as young as 3 months old.

Timothy McVeigh was single, he had no girlfriend, he had no children in his life, no woman wanted him, he went alone and without a group to bars, restaurants, clubs, and to live music events and gatherings, and look what he did the morning of Wednesday April 19th, 1995. And when McVeigh was being escorted from a nearby courthouse, he was met by multiple angry mobs of people and yells of "Baby killer."
