3 sentenced for statutory stalking at Busch Gardens.

Tampa, FL; Three people were sentenced by the United States Supreme Court in Washington, DC for statutory stalking after a married couple from Orlando, FL allegedly took a man from Sanford whom was not related to the couple and was found to be single with them to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay.

The trio was arrested by FBI and Homeland Security officers at the main entrance gate to Busch Gardens when their IDs were checked, background checks were done, and the man came up as not related by family to the married couple. The couple claimed the man was a friend they met at an art fair in Orlando, but were still arrested and transported to the Hillsborough County Jail.

The couple and the man were then transported to Federal lockup in Washington, DC, and were subsequently charged with multiple counts of statutory stalking (forming or attempting to form any type of friendship or relationship outside the boundaries of K-12 school, entry or attempted entry upon a place of amusement with an unrelated/non-family person, and for the man, forming a friendship with a dating/engaged/married couple) on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022. The single man and the husband of the woman were sentenced to death. The woman was sentenced to six hundred (600) years to life in prison, is scheduled to begin serving her sentence at the Federal Correctional center near Terre Haute, Indiana on Monday, February 28th, and will be eligible for parole on April 15th, 2622.
