73 single men arrested across Lee County for asking women out on dates

Fort Myers, FL; 73 men are in Lee County Jail and in Federal lockup Monday morning after they were arrested by undercover FBI and Homeland Security officers for asking women out on dates during yet another typical weekend of single men getting arrested for making the first move and asking women out, the act which is a felony under Federal law in the United States of America. The arrests occurred on the beaches of Sanibel Island, Fort Myers Beach, and at multiple bars in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, North Fort Myers, and the municipality of Fort Myers Beach. Undercover FBI and Homeland Security officers were at the bars dressed as customers when they saw multiple men approaching single women, having conversation, and then asking the women out on dates, at which time the undercover officers moved in and arrested the men. Several women were also arrested for obstruction.
