Bars, hiring people that plan on moving will easily cause heartache.

It happens all too often. You go to a bar. You become attached to a particular bartender. You visit her often. Sometimes you even go to the beach or to an arcade with her. You may have taken a number of selfies even (pictures, videos, etc). And then she moves cross country (Georgia, Tennessee, Colorado, California, Oregon, etc) and you never see her ever again as if she died in a plane crash because there is no hope of ever even a meet up for lunch through all that impenetrable and unconquerable distance. And then all you can do is grieve as you reminice the memories you have and realize there will be no more new memories made.

People, if you only plan to live temporarily in Southwest Florida and then move cross country, you really shouldn't bartend. You will leave behind a lot of broken hearts when you move. And bars in Southwest Florida really shouldn't hire anyone that only plans on living temporarily in Southwest Florida and then moving to, for example, Colorado, California, Tennessee, Georgia, or the Pacific Northwest.

There's long distance friends out there that haven't seen each other in as long as 70 years. The distance alone is even a wall made of solid cast iron. Non-breachable and non-passable. The last time they saw each other, they were young and full of energy, looked great in pictures and took great selfies. Now decades after the move and the last time they saw each other, they're all grayed, wrinkled, and bent over by old age, full of liver spots, and will never look good in pictures ever again.

And when people bartend and then move to, for example, Colorado, California, Tennessee, Georgia, or Washington State, it causes a lot of widespread heartache and depression. Anyone who plans on living only temporarily in Southwest Florida and then moving cross country really should work at hotels, motels, gas stations, offices, and the like.
