Cape Coral Social Club is Back in Business

Meeting and Dance Venue Repaired after Ian

The Cape Coral Social Club’s (CCSC) meeting and dance venue is back in operation. Since hurricane Ian hit September 28th, the club has been scrounging for meeting facilities until now. The club meets at the German American Social Club (GASC). The GASC repairs have been completed and the facility is back in operation.

The Cape Coral Social Club’s next meeting is Thursday, January 26th at the GASC, 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral at 9:30 am for socializing and coffee and pastries. The meeting starts at 10:00 am with our guest speaker CSM Craig Layton, Retired, from Golden Paws Assistance Dogs. Golden Paws Assistance Dogs is a nonprofit organization that promotes independence for combat wounded veterans and children with life-changing disabilities through partnerships with skilled assistance dogs. They do this without charge.

The Club’s first dance since Ian will be Saturday, February 4th at 5:30 pm at the GASC. Jay Smith will be providing dance entertainment. The dance theme is “Football Fanfare”. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team colors or jerseys.
