Centennial park needs bicycle racks!

Popular park near Downtown Fort Myers is under renovation, but they are forgetting to put bicycle racks in the park.

Fort Myers has a tropical climate. Perfect all 12 months a year for bicycle riding. Fort Myers never has snow, blizzards, ice storms, or daytime highs in the 10s with subzero wind chills. The weather here is perfect for bicycle riding. However, cyclists that take a trip downtown I am sure have noticed that bicycles are completely illegal (up to 9 months jail) in the Downtown area; they can not be ridden on neither street nor sidewalk in Downtown Fort Myers. Centennial Park is as close as cyclists can legally get to the Downtown area without facing 9 months in jail. Cyclists need places to park and lock their bikes when they go downtown, and bike racks are the perfect thing to park and lock a bicycle.

Centennial Park needs bike racks, and the city needs to install bike racks in Centennial Park.
