Cottage bar is never coming back, parcel up for sale.

Anyone who goes to Fort Myers Beach in the year 2030 will quickly learn that they no longer have their favorite mom and pop hangout spot anymore and will have nothing but strangers and all new default social ice barriers to deal with. That is correct, the old Cottage bar on Fort Myers Beach has been put permanently out of commission by Hurricane Ian. And Sunday September 26th, 2022 was their last day of operation and the day the iconic hangout would close it's doors for good, to be washed away by Hurricane Ian's 20 foot high storm surge and never to be rebuilt. The parcel is up for sale and the owners reportedly are moving to Canada.
