Drinking tainted tap water can make you sick to your stomach.

The hurricane is over. You absentmindedly have a drink from the tap hours after the winds died down. Suddenly you get sick to your stomach and throw up as if sick with the flu. You have drank tainted tapwater during a boil water advisory.

Boil water advisories are in effect so that doesn't happen to you. Throwing up is no fun at all. Plus it can be harmful, too. So don't drink from the tap until the boil water notice is lifted for your neighborhood. Drink bottled water instead until the boil water notice is lifted.
