Java The Hutts is a robotics team out of Fort Myers. Every year they participate in The First Tech Challenge, an international robotics competition. Java, the Hutts, have had an incredible season this year, designing an amazing robot that has scored the state's high score as well as winning first inspire (the highest-ranking award in FTC) at both the regional and the state levels.

The team has also qualified to represent the state of Florida at Worlds, the international robotics competition in Houston, Texas.

However, the trip and the competition are expensive and the team has turned to GoFundMe and the community's generosity to help with funding.

The GoFundMe states, "By donating to our team, you are not only helping us fund our trip to Texas for the International competition, but you are also supporting us in learning many valuable life skills."
