Single riders threatened by ride operators at Ortiz Avenue fair.

Multiple single riders threatened by armed ride operators over the course of the weekend at Ortiz Avenue Fleamasters Flea Market fair.

Fort Myers, Fl; Multiple single riders were threatened at gunpoint over the course of the weekend by multiple aggressive armed ride operators for getting in line to go on one of the rides. The ride operators reportedly pointed guns at the single riders and threatened to shoot the single riders if they didn't leave the entrance line. The ride, known as the Zipper, is often seen as a staple of many fairs and has, reportedly, enforced a "No Single Riders" policy since 2008.

The ride operators of the Zipper reportedly did the same thing at the Bonita Holiday festival as well, where reportedly one of the operators shoved a single rider violently backwards causing him to hit his head on the pavement resulting in a concussion. The operators also work for a fair company called Modern Midways.
