Those luxury developers wrecking Fort Myers Beach belong in California
Greedy developers intending to make another Chicago out of Fort Myers Beach need to take their construction work back to California.
As many of you know, Fort Myers Beach was devastated by Hurricane Ian. And now, greedy luxury developers want to make Fort Myers Beach as unaffordable and as expensive as even Beverly Hills, California, as well as a place where everyone is a stranger and where nobody makes friends (like it is in DuPage County, Illinois).
We in Southwest Florida want to keep the old fashion "mom and pop" type atmosphere on Estero Island. We don't want any greedy developers ruining it with their 100+ story luxury high-rises and the giant mansions like you see in Beverly Hills, California. Those greedy developers want to build luxury residences and businesses, they need to go find some beach near San Francisco or Los Angeles to do so. They need to take their development plans back to California where they belong.
