Three sentenced for statutory stalking at NJ amusement park.

Jackson, NJ; Three people were sentenced Monday, November 1st, 2021 under the new Federal laws against what is now defined officially as statutory stalking after it was discovered through their IDs that one of the persons was not related to the other two whom were engaged. The engaged couple, one man and one woman, allegedly brought another man whom they said was "their best friend" to Six Flags Great Adventure in June. The three were checked in by security whom then ran background checks and discovered that the second man was not related to the man and woman whom were engaged, and promptly contacted the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, whom tracked down the trio and arrested them while they were in line for the Kingda Ka roller coaster.

In court, the couple reportedly fought against the charges against them and their friend. claiming unfairness, to which the Judge replied; "These are new times, new Federal laws, and you can no longer, as of 2020, take any person not related to yourselves to any amusement park within the United States of America."

The couple was sentenced to three hundred seventy five (375) years to life in prison for harboring a statutory stalker and bringing an unrelated person with them into a place of public amusement and family gatherings. The couple is scheduled to begin serving their sentence Monday, November 8th at ADX Florence and will be eligible for parole on December 15th, 2396. The third person, a single man, was sentenced to death for first-degree statutory stalking.
