• 1,000 homes planned for new Lakewood Ranch community (businessobserverfl.com) — A major new Lakewood Ranch neighborhood, EverCreek, is planned just 1.5 miles north of Fruitville Road, bringing about 1,000 new homes and extensive amenities to the area. The community will feature a lazy-river pool, pickleball complex, dog park, trails connecting into Lakewood Ranch’s network, and a mix of single-family homes and townhomes ranging from 1,500 to 4,000 square feet.
