• This ritzy Florida zip code is finally getting a new public golf course option (usatoday.com) — Golden Gate residents will soon gain a new public golf option as The Gate Golf Club, built on part of the former Golden Gate Country Club, prepares for a December opening with discounted rates for Collier County residents. The nonprofit-run, nine-hole course near Golden Gate Parkway and Collier Boulevard aims to make golf more accessible for families and youth, while also hosting First Tee programs.
