The Boca Ciega High School Pirate Players will present the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee May 10-12 at 7:00pm in the main auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults (children under 5 are free).
This 6 time Tony Award nominated musical comedy follows a quirky and charming cast of six adolescent outsiders for whom a middle school spelling bee is the one place they can stand out and fit in at the same time. Contestants learn winning isn't everything and losing doesn't necessarily make one a loser. Please note that some subject matter may not be appropiate for younger audience members.
