Green Alternative Holiday Market

An alternative holiday shopping experience, this family event encourages creativity and community spirit.

Green Saturday will feature:
- One-of-a-kind useful, earth/people/pet friendly handmade items
- Solar oven bake-off
- Kids area
- Take and make gifts
- Responsible gift wrapping
- Garden goods
- Local musical artists
- Several guest speakers

Peace Village will feature Shambhala Meditation Center, offering contemplative meditations and inspirational talks all day. There will be representatives from Sacred Lands, Dances For Universal Peace, Awakening the Dreamer and much more.

For children, there will be storytelling, face-painting, decoration-making, and rattle-, drum- and music-making.

Bring unwrapped items for GIVE and TAKE gift swap and receive your ticket at the Growing Greener Booth to take gift from the Giving Tree. We aim to be a zero-waste event, so bring cups, eating utensils and shopping bags, and of course, good cheer.
