Java Nirvana Cafe Closing in Gulfport, Moving to Seminole
Java Nirvana Co-owner Mark Pohlman says April 27th will be the cafe's last day in Gulfport.
Mark and Patty Pohlman are moving their business to 8976 Seminole Blvd. in Seminole, FL. The new location is about 11 miles northwest of downtown Gulfport.
"We'll close here on the 27th and hopefully open up (at the new location) the 5th of May," Mark Pohlman said.
Pohlman says they're changing the name to The Coffee House & Cafe. The new location will be three times the size of Java Nirvana and Pohlman hopes to bring in more traffic because of that. That's not all. "We're hoping for extended hours," he said.

As for their regular customers, "it would be nice, but I don't expect them to drive 10 miles."
There are currently no plans to change the menu but, Pohlman says there may be minor adjustments once the new cafe is open.
