• Florida Trooper Rescues Stray German Shepherd Wearing Service Collar In Polk County (tampafp.com) — A Florida Highway Patrol trooper rescued a loose German Shepherd walking in traffic near Detour Road and Kokomo Road in the Haines City area, then took it to the Polk County Animal Shelter. The dog was wearing an Emotional Support Animal collar, and shelter staff are now caring for it while trying to locate its owner.
