• Uber driver confesses to woman's kidnapping in Miami Beach and rape near Miami Lakes, records show (local10.com) — A woman who woke up in pain at HCA Florida Palm Lakes Emergency in Hialeah reported to detectives that she believes she was drugged and sexually assaulted after leaving a Miami Beach nightclub. Investigators say an Uber driver confessed to having sex with her while she was incapacitated, and he’s now jailed without bond on kidnapping and sexual battery charges pending a July 9 arraignment.
