• Six more dachshunds rescued from 'hoarding' situation as 21 continue to recover in Tampa (fox13news.com) — Holiday residents are at the center of a disturbing dachshund hoarding case, with 27 related dogs now rescued from a Pasco County property and recovering in Tampa shelters. Local rescuers describe filthy conditions, medical issues like heartworms and joint problems, and say it will be weeks before the animals are ready for adoption. Deputies report no charges have been filed against the Holiday owners so far.
