Florida missing child alert issued for 14-year-old last seen Homestead in March (nbcmiami.com) ā A statewide missing child alert is in effect for 14-year-old Yarilis Mendez-Carrillo, last seen March 11 near the 300 block of Southwest 12th Avenue in Homestead. Sheās described as 4-foot-7 with black hair, brown eyes, and a distinctive circular scar on her upper right thigh. Anyone who may have seen her is urged to contact FDLE, Homestead Police, or 911 immediately.

Homestead woman accused of drunkenly shooting 2 outside ceviche bar (local10.com) ā Residents should know that Homestead police arrested a 34-year-old local woman after two women were shot outside Dr. Limon Ceviche Bar at Homestead Pavilion late Friday night. Investigators say an argument in the parking lot escalated before shots were fired, and the suspect now faces multiple felony firearm and battery charges while being held without bond.
