• Fight over food turns into alleged death threat with kitchen knife, police say (wsvn.com) — Homestead police arrested an 18-year-old man after an argument over food inside a local home allegedly escalated into a punch to the victim’s face and a threat to kill him with a kitchen knife. Officers say the shaken victim fled, called 911, and showed them the weapon, leading to aggravated assault and battery charges.
