• Dozens of houses of worship join PBSO training to strengthen security (cbs12.com) — Local worshippers at First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo are among dozens of Palm Beach County congregations joining new security training and an alert system from the sheriff’s office. Starting May 13, participating houses of worship will receive real-time notifications about nearby threats, part of a broader push combining technology and new state laws to strengthen on-site safety.
