Miami-Dade Schools Police say he has been jailed without bond on serious lewd conduct and authority-figure charges, and the district confirms he was removed from the classroom and is barred from future employment. 
• Miami-Dade Tax Collector budget raises questions over lawyers, consultants (politicalcortadito.com) — Kendall residents could see their local tax office consolidated into a new $17.4 million Coral Reef facility that would merge Kendall and Florida City operations and add warehouse space. State officials are pressing Miami-Dade’s tax collector to justify this project, millions for lawyers, consultants, technology, and new vehicles, even as other county departments face cuts and vacant positions are eliminated.
