• Widow sues Kissimmee homeowner's association over killing of 3 men in vacation home (clickorlando.com) — A widow is suing the Indian Point homeowners association in Kissimmee after her husband and two other men were killed while staying at a short-term rental there in January. She claims the HOA and property owner were negligent for not addressing the alleged shooter’s prior violent history in Kissimmee. A competency hearing for the accused suspect has been delayed, with a new date still pending.
   

• 2 charged after Florida officers find 24 dogs inside parked car (snntv.com) — Kissimmee police say they rescued about two dozen dogs from a parked SUV after a May 18 call reporting animals in distress, finding them without food or water. Working with Osceola County Animal Services, officers removed the dogs safely and arrested two people on animal-cruelty-related charges, while urging residents to call 911 if they see similar situations.
