• Bill Posey, longtime congressman for the Space Coast, dies (orlandosentinel.com) — Kissimmee residents are remembering former U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, who once represented much of Osceola County, including the city, during his long tenure in Congress. Posey, a key advocate for Space Coast jobs and commercial space growth, died Saturday at 78 after decades in local, state, and federal office. Colleagues praised his conservative record, space policy work, and focus on economic development.
