• Gabriela Ledezma Arrested On Vehicle Homicide Charge (blogspot.com) — Two LaBelle men were involved in a deadly three-vehicle crash on County Road 78 last October, one of whom died at the scene. After a lengthy investigation, troopers have now arrested the eastbound driver on DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges, citing alcohol and THC in her system. 
• Hendry County Arrests - Drugs, DUI, Probation Violations (blogspot.com) — Several LaBelle residents were recently arrested on charges ranging from DUI and aggravated assault to drug possession and probation violations, according to Hendry County deputies. The blotter lists arrests from April 13–19, plus a few earlier in April, giving residents a clear snapshot of recent law-enforcement activity involving LaBelle and nearby communities like Clewiston, Immokalee, and Okeechobee.
• Deputy U. Granados-Gomez Honored At Appreciation Dinner (blogspot.com) — A Hendry County correctional deputy who grew up in LaBelle and graduated from LaBelle High School has been named the Sheriff’s Office Correctional Deputy of the Year for 2026. He was honored at the Clewiston Elks Lodge First Responder Appreciation Dinner after earning top marks in corrections training and taking on key responsibilities in the jail division.
