Seminole Science Charter School Hosting Open Houses Ahead of 2027-2028 Academic Year

As Seminole Science Charter School (SSCS) accepts applications for the 2027-2028 academic year, families are invited to learn about the hands-on, tuition-free STEM education the campus has provided for more than a decade. The open houses at the school – located at 3580 N. U.S. Hwy. 17-92 in Lake Mary – will take place on:

·Nov. 14, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

·Dec. 9, 6 – 7:30 p.m.

·Jan. 10, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Attendees can speak with staff about the research-based curriculum at SSCS, including the PLTW Engineering and Biomedical Science programs, Advanced Placement Academy and Dual Enrollment – in addition to competitive after-school offerings, such as Science Olympiad, VEX Robotics and athletic teams.

SSCS is enrolling students from kindergarten through 11th grade following the opening of its high school campus in August. The application window runs through Jan. 22, and a virtual drawing will be held on Feb. 12.
