ā¢ $145K Agreement Approved for Design Services for Tower Boulevard Trail ā Local Government & Politics (dailyridge.com) ā Lake Wales city commissioners have approved a $144,775 agreement to design the new Tower Boulevard Trail, creating a safer, halfāmile walking and biking link between Kiwanis Park and Burns Avenue toward Bok Tower Gardens. Funded partly by a state grant, the project supports the Lake Wales Connected and Lake Wales Envisioned plans to boost walkability, beautification, and park access across the city.

ā¢ 10 Florida trucking schools ordered to cease operations after failing to meet English requirements: officials (snntv.com) ā Two Lake Wales trucking schools, RoadPro CDL Training and Florida CDL Truck Driving School, have been ordered to stop operating after federal regulators found repeated failures to meet Englishālanguage standards. The state says the schools must halt new enrollments, identify affected students, issue refunds when needed, and may only resume normal operations if they regain federal approval. Ā Ā Ā
