ATV Crash Kills Haines City Man

A 22-year-old Haines City man was killed Saturday night after crashing while riding an ATV.

HAINES CITY, FL — A 22-year-old Haines City man was killed Saturday night after crashing while riding an ATV.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was riding the ATV at a high speed north on North 15th Street at 11:10 p.m. when he tried to brake for traffic ahead and lost control. The ATV flipped over and the man was thrown off it.

Troopers said he later died at the hospital.
