Highway Closures In Western Florida

Florida highway officials say these highway sections are closed following Hurricane Irma.

From FDOT: Please see below, the most updated list of state and federal road closures in FDOT District One. We will continue to update you on the status of these roads as they are reopened. FDOT crews are working to get all lanes reopened as quickly as possible.

Also, FDOT bridge inspectors were able to inspect and clear all I-75, I-4, and barrier island access bridges and no significant issues were found. This includes the Judge Jolly Bridge to Marco Island and the Matanzas Pass Bridge to Ft. Myers Beach.

Drawbridges will be begin to be unlocked and return to operation starting today. Bridge inspections will continue today focusing on inland river crossing bridges that may experience flooding as a result of rising water.
