The latest stop along Polk County’s Citrus Label Tour was revealed Wednesday afternoon at the Central Florida Visitor Information Center in Davenport.

After a few words from Myrtice Young, Polk County History Center historic preservation manager, the Flora Seal label was unveiled. The Citrus Label Tour is a nearly year-old initiative. It seeks to not only identify buildings, land and families of citrus significance, but also to create a self-guided historical tour throughout the county. The campaign is a combined effort between The Polk County History Center’s History and Heritage Trail, the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame and Visit Central Florida.

The Central Florida Visitor Information Center is at 101 Adventure Court, Davenport.
