Man Fatally Shot In Bartow, Polk Sheriff Investigating

BARTOW, FL — The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Monday afternoon at 52 59th St. in Bartow.

Around 3 p.m., Bartow police responded to a report of an injured person. When they arrived, they found Shalamar Deshaw Moore shot. He later died from his gunshot wounds.

The Polk County Sheriff's office has taken over the investigation and made an arrest.
