Lakeland Woman Killed, 9-Year-Old Seriously Injured in Tragic I-4 Crash Near Daryl Carter Parkway (iskynews.com) — A 44-year-old Lakeland woman died and a 9-year-old Lakeland girl was seriously injured after their car crashed and caught fire Sunday morning on I-4 near Daryl Carter Parkway in Orange County. Troopers suspect the driver may have suffered a medical episode before veering off the road, and both crashes under investigation highlight ongoing safety concerns for Lakeland families traveling this busy corridor.
