Publix Heiress Gave Group $150K To Promote Jan. 6 Rally: Report
Julie Jenkins Fancelli, daughter of the founder of Publix Super Markets, also helped finance the pro-Trump rally held in Washington, D.C.

LAKELAND, FL — Julie Jenkins Fancelli, daughter of the founder of Publix Super Markets, reportedly donated $150,000 to a nonprofit group that used part of the funds to promote the Jan. 6 rally in Washington, D.C., according to a report.
Fancelli gave the money to the Rule of Law Defense Fund, the nonprofit arm of the Republican Attorneys General Association, The Washington Post reported. The organization then paid for a robocall promoting a march to the U.S. Capitol to "call on Congress to stop the steal," the Post reported.
The congressional commission formed to investigate the rally, which later led to hundreds of Trump supporters storming the U.S. Capitol, is looking carefully at who financed the event. Records show Fancelli also gave $300,000 to Women for America First, the “Stop the Steal” group that obtained a permit for the rally.
