Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Announces Class Of 2018 Nominees
Radiohead, the Moody Blues, Nina Simone and the Eurythmics are among the first-time nominees.

CLEVELAND, OH — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced the 19 nominees for induction as the class of 2018 on Thursday. Radiohead, Bon Jovi, the Moody Blues, Nina Simone and the Eurythmics are among the artists and bands that could be inducted in December.
The 19 nominees for the class of 2018 are: Bon Jovi, Kate Bush, the Cars, Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, Eurythmics, J. Geils Band, Judas Priest, Link Wray, LL Cool J, MC5, the Meters, Moody Blues, Nina Simone, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and the Zombies.

Rage Against the Machine and Radiohead only became eligible for nomination this year. The other bands and singers that are appearing for the first time are Kate Bush, Dire Straits, the Eurythmics, Judas Priest, Moody Blues, Nina Simone and Sister Rosetta Tharpe.
Fans will once again be able to cast their vote on which artists they would like to see inducted. Individuals can vote for five artists a day. Votes can be cast online.

At least one of the bands, the Zombies, has already spent some time in the Rock Hall. The British Invasion-era rock band is the subject of a special exhibit that opened July 12. The surviving members of the band were on hand for the debut and dedication event.
